The purpose of this web site is to raise public awareness and provide information about Huntington's Disease and the situation of those that experience it.

Huntingtons Queensland was established as a small voluntary support group in 1976 and is now a well established professional centre providing support to hundreds of families and professionals throughout Queensland. The Association is a member organisation of the national and international Huntington's Disease Associations.

An invitation to Supporters, Friends and Colleagues

The young crowd at HDYO are holding a forum for young people and families to talk about living life with Huntington’s Disease!
It’s a capital city tour and for Brisbane it’s 6pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday 25 November at the Point Hotel, Kangaroo Point.

Guinness World Record Set by Cam Wilson in aid of Huntingtons Queensland

Cam setting new record

A FANTASTIC EFFORT BY CAM!

On the 5th of February, Cam Wilson rocketed into the Guinness World Record Book, travelling 604 kms in 24 hours and smashing the previous record of 503 kms for “Karting, greatest distance travelled in 24 hour indoors (individual)” by 101 kms.

An exhausted but elated Cam said, “It was touch and go at some points, but the cause kept me motivated, and I couldn’t be happier about raising not only awareness of Huntington’s Disease, but also much needed funds for Huntingtons Queensland.
